After the fog lifted around 6:50pm we watched the white pelican swim from near Burke airport, toward the Shoreline Luxury Apartments (near E55th), then swam between us and the marina, got up in rocks, preened a bit and went to sleep! You could see it sitting in your car in the parking lot!!

I would think if anyone comes down here after dark you could see it by the nearby lights. Pics on my eBird checklist when I get home.

Anyone who can get here by first light in the morning might see it from the parking lot - just a guess. It might also be worth coming here by 6:30 tomorrow evening in hopes it roosts here again.

No joy on the Great Cormorant.
