Thanks to those of you who replied to my request for information about the Pick Ponds HARRIS'S SPARROW. I found it easily today, coming to the bird feeder at the Wood Duck picnic area. He was hanging out with a flock of American Tree and White-crowned Sparrows and I
saw him well twice in about 10 minutes, around 4:15-4:30pm. In addition, there were House Finches, Red-bellied Woodpecker, chickadees, and cardinals, plus 6 Mallards and 2 American Black Ducks flew over while we were feeder watching. As I left the parking area, I saw an American Kestrel perched on a wire right over the nest box on Bowen Rd.
