Shortly ago a Wilson's phalarope was dodging in and out of the cattails
at Arrowhead Marsh at Pickerington Ponds MP in Franklin Co. Also
intermittently visible from the observation deck was a pair of sandhill
cranes on the far side of the marsh, just right of the largest bur oak.
Ellis Pond has growing muddy margins, but little other than yellowlegs
and killdeers to show for it.
