Well, geese and domestics at Adams lake state park. I had checked ebird
Before deciding on a location today. Nothing reported there Duck wise
In awhile. I have been striking out on waterfowl for a few days now. They
Have moved on! I'll have to check here next Jan. I'll need ducks to get
Adams up to 200. And many more years! I would have hit a banding demonstration
At a local spot, but didn’t get the word about it til late. Next time! I decided
To hit Adams anyway, I need winter passerines. Picked up Sapsucker, Gc kinglet,
And House finch?! I was missing that one. Bad as the elusive Rock pigeon.
No winter sparrows. Up to 104 for Adams.
I have never birded Adams in Feb. before, so that was interesting. Come mid
March botany season starts! Can’t wait…… butterflies and odes come
April. Lots to do and places to explore!
Good birding all.
