I birded at Conneaut harbor this morning/early afternoon.  Best bird was a late juv. ruddy turnstone on the shore.  Other birds seen included wood ducks, gadwall, hooded merganser, common mergansers, 5 sanderlings, 2 dunlin, Bonaparte's gulls, great black-backed gull, 2 common terns, 260 double-crested cormorants, great blue heron, and 3 bald eagles.  On the way home on Rte. 7 in Ashtabula Co. I saw an e. meadowlark in Pierpont Twp. and an Am. kestrel in Andover Twp.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
