Good morning everyone. As I write this update at 08:15am and the feeders
have been out since 0630am, so far, No Sign of our Calliope. The feeders
are protected, the nectar is unfrozen.

I will continue to keep you updated, throughout the day. I will also be
posting updates on our FB page, “Delaware Ohio Calliope Hummingbird.

Yesterday with the temperatures in the 40’s and the sun shining our
Calliope was again very active. Standing his ground, defending his
territory he exhibited healthy and vigorous behaviors.

Right now, it is currently 25 degrees and sunny. He has plenty of shelter,
food and resources available if he is still present.

We are all hoping for the best and again I will keep updates coming
throughout the day.
