There were about half the birds today as there were yesterday. Three lesser
scaup were new for the season.
There was a distant jaeger around 8:45. It was being harassed by a few
ring-billed gulls and seemed very small in comparison. Its buoyant flight
made me tend to think it may have been a long-tailed jaeger. the distance
was just too great to get a positive ID.
