The lake opened up a bit today.  There were a fair number of herring gulls
moving early over the ice along the shore.  Later the herring gulls slowed
down and a few ring-billed gulls moved overhead. Not a lot of waterfowl
moving.  The only bird of note was a glaucous gull.
