I was just starting to head out this afternoon, when I get the alert for a
WW scoter in butler! I had wanted to check the larger bodies of water
After all the good waterfowl reports. Success! Butler bird and big year
Bird 205. It was with a pied billed grebe. Nothing else! I hit Furfield next.
Nothing. Why don’t the birds stick and feed…… it was yesterday Marianne
Had a lot of Common Loons there. Gilmore next. Well, I am not concerned
About lack of water for now - that rain we had helped. Water levels at the
Cat tail marsh and south pond are higher. Nothing new, but fun birding
That south path area. Loads of sparrows.

Good birding all. The cold is coming! I'll be on vacation. Will check on
Butler again when I return. This big year is fun!
