Just 2 harriers. The Rough legged did not cooperate. No Owls either.
I had a nice time watching the fields from the Hickory trail area.
I stopped at the treeline. Wanted to staybin open areas. Plus those
woods are Butler county. A different hot spot.

Between this and lost bridge - I hope to enjoy some birds at dusk. So far,
Fernald had much more flying.

I tried Armleder yesterday. Late afternoon. Not too much. Although
sparrow diversity is picking up.

I had three Rustys today at Fernald. That open dead tree area right before
Butler was hopping! But I really wanted to scan open areas. So I didnt
spend much time there.

Nature notes - insect swarms around. Good! bird food.
I even had some dragonflies. No id. Meadowhawks probably.
They are a late season ode.

Trip notes - I will be north Friday. All day to explore the Cleveland area.
I am hoping for Redpoll! And then scanning lake areas, etc. For species
I am not getting down here in Cincinnati.

Good birding all.
