As I was trudging back to my car across the board walk along the eastern edge of the southern most lagoon at the Oxbow in North Chagrin Metropark (across from Squire's Castle on Rt. 174) feeling dejected because I only had 3 species (really cold), a Northern Shrike popped up out of the end of the marsh, sat on a tree branch about 20' from me and eventually sang for a minute before flying off.  It's been a while since I've seen one and never heard one sing.  Great walk in spite of only 5 species!!
