I have been meaning to get out here for waterfowl. And to just explore more.
I picked a good day! Felt like spring. Common Loon and coots still around.
Although I think the Common Loons are just starting to come north. Both
GW and BW teal were in a shallow water spot - I think shallow - at the bridge
Before the marina. Corms back in numbers. Brown Thrashers around. Loads
Of Bonies. Only one Ring billed Gull!

Not too much passerine wise - probably because I was there in the afternoon. I found
A couple new spots there that look good for passerines. If I manage to get
Back during migration.

I love this place for odes - and sure enough my fos Green Darner! I am presuming
Green Darner. It was far. But they are an early ode.

No swallows this afternoon! Strange. Tree Swallows seem back all over.

Good birding all.
