I did some local car birding before work. Was intrigued with the hundreds
Of Common Loons in eastern Ohio. None here! Lost bridge - Hamilton
County - devoid of birds. Interesting. Not even gulls. Although I didn’t
Spend that much time scanning the north pond. Oxbow - Indiana. It’s close.
All one area basically. At least birds! But no loon. Would be an Indiana bird
For me. Ring billed Gulls here. Maybe they move back and forth between
Here and Lost bridge? A nice flock of Shovelers. The only water I found
Frozen was the little bit left on the quarry area at Lost Bridge. Maybe not
The deep freeze that I thought.

Sat. I am off chasing the Kentucky Pink footed. Kentucky bird! They have been
In NJ.

Good birding all.
