I only had to dodge a few raindrops this morning and had some good birds. I saw two Gray Catbirds today hanging out together and they were showing better. One gave a short scold call
I also had at least two Hermit Thrushes, possibly 4. I also had one Fox Sparrow. The only other sparrows were White-throated. Three towhees—2 males, 1 female.
Good-sized flock of Cedar Waxwings feeding high in the trees.
A Red-shouldered Hawk flew thru my neighbor’s yard before I left for the reserve.
