With all the wind and low water, I took a walk at the Scheeff East Point
Nature Preserve on South Bass Island. Kept looking for any surprises around
the gulls but none yet! More Bonaparte's Gulls than I have seen lately.

Ring-billed Gulls xxx
Herring Gulls xx
Black-backed Gulls x
Bonaparte's Gulls xx
Spotted Sandpiper
Double-crested Cormorants xxx-moving early in a long line this morning
Yellow-rumped warblers xx
Palm Warbler x
White-throated sparrow x

Also saw a number of Monarch butterflies in sheltered locations and a few what
looked like Orange Sulphurs.
