Hit the ASO field trip here this morning. Luke Thies - leader. I was only with the 
Group about an hour or so. The YC Night Herons were very active at South Pond
Mid morning. Nice seeing a juvenile! Maybe with a couple young birds around, 
They will be out more during the day for birders to see. Hungry young have to
Eat! And I learned the story - Louisiana Crayfish were dumped nearby. And 
Exploded in population. It’s theorized that’s why the YC Night herons showed 
Up. 2019 was their first year there. Food, breeding spots. Like the Limpkin
And the Apple snails. Bells vireo did not cooperate. Probably on nest and quiet.
2 BC night herons were at the Corm rookery area. They must breed around the
Area also. 

I tried for the recently posted Bobwhite. Nichols rd. Hamilton Oxford area. 
No success. I didn’t spend too much time there. That was a fairy active rd.
With no shoulder to pull off on!
