Everything I am reading says big numbers emerging soon. Its been cold.
This week warms up. And SW Ohio looks like a good spot! I will be on
a brood x search soon. And hopefully loads of birds feasting on them!

I am sooooo far behind in my big year. Didn't help that Jen Broome
and I hit NW Ohio for 4 days! We had a great time! Picked up lots of
ohio birds!

Theres a flooded field along round bottom rd. in Hamilton county
that i like to scan now and then. Different areas at different times of
the year have the birds there. I picked up Semipalm sandpiper for
the big year - 187 now. I need to pick up a lot of missing species soon....
RB Nuthatch was reported at Rowe woods. And the next day Jen and I
have 2 at Magee! Sigh.... I am not going to have time to do much for
a few days. Catching up on household stuff. Including kitchen construction...

Good birding all.
