I saw the northern shrike around noon today at the Lake Erie Bluffs in Lake County. It was again in the large field west of the north end of Lane Road. It was at the west end of the trail system and with today's sunshine it provided some great looks.
the bird has been here for close to a week. If its at the top of one of the larger trees it is easy to spot. It however likes to perch at the top of some of the shorter trees and can seem to disappear. There was also a mockingbird on the wires off Blackmore Road. For directions to the bluffs check lakemetroparks.com
