This past Friday, I stopped by Springfield Bog Metropark on the border of Summit and Portage counties to bird a little bit. When I arrived, I immediately noticed a RT Hawk sitting on a power pole looking over the open fields. Before I knew it, an American Kestrel started strafing the Hawk. I think the Kestrel preferred to have that roost for himself. I took some shots and thought I would share links for those interested in seeing some images of this behavior. By the way, the hawk did fly off and I think that the Kestrel got a little ego boost as a result!

Happy Birding!
