The Northern Shrike was along the north end out the bluff connector trail
(where it meets the bluff trail) at 10:25 today. It flew up to a tree then
on to a tall plant before disappearing into the thicket.
When I got back to my car parked on the circle on lane road, I was greeted
by a noisy flock of 21 Common Redpolls. They were working a couple of trees
on the west side of the road before heading off west.
