There was a modest movement of birds on the lake this morning. there are
still decent numbers of red-breasted mergansers. A few large groups of
cormorants passed by. The only bird of note was a female long-tailed duck.
Not a lot of migrating songbirds this morning. There were a few blackbirds
and quite a few goldfinches and siskins
