When the temperature got into the teens, I ventured out for a short walk at Denison as I was definitely getting a bit stir crazy having stayed in given the bitter cold. V little at Denison but I did see a Hermit Thrush that showed well and was making its call note. Needed that for January.
Then I did a drive through the Tagg Rd area hoping for at least a Horned Lark. No larks or longspurs but saw 4 Am Pipits which was nice and a N Harrier as well. So, 3 more for my anemic January list today.
Nothing unusual at my feeders has shown up.
