Very strong winds on the lake and surprisingly there were quite a few birds
moving. Most of the gulls passing over were ring-billed gulls, but later in
the day herring gulls started making up a higher percentage. There should
be a lot of gulls moving in the coming days. Waterfowl were a little more
mixed with red-breasted mergansers making up the higher percentage, but a
lot of scaup were also moving. A lot were too far to identify.
