A quick visit to this woodland east of Columbus found a fairly good fallout of temperate migrants this morning, including many kinglets of both species, 2 sapsuckers, 2 Phoebes, 3 Hermit Thrushes, 4 Winter Wrens, 4 Nashville Warblers, 25+ yellow-rumps, 35+ White-throated sparrows, 4 Lincoln's Sparrows, and flocks of Redwinged blackbirds. Along with the cool temperature and changing leaves, it really pressed home the turnover of the season.
