The Nelson's Sparrow continues in Franklin County. It is being seen along
Kuhlwein Road a bit more than a quarter mile east of the parking lot on
Kuhlwein Road. There is a gravel drive south of the road and the sparrow has
been seen just west of that drive. It sometimes sits in a small cottonwood
tree. We also saw it in the big bluestem apparently feeding on the seeds.
