Started fairly early at Gilmore metro park. That’s the key in this weather.
Although I am reading reports of others having warblers late morning.
It hasn’t happened this fall for me in Butler - yet….

Anyway that south path is more open, gets the morning sun, is all around
Good. And I managed a Veery and a Canada! Canada was not on my radar
For Butler - so maybe I still stand a chance for 200 for my big year. Up to
189. But that was it! Common yellowthroats. No other warblers that I could
Find??! But I should get those missing ones the next front! Bay breasted.
Phila. Vireo. I think I still need Cape May. Etc.

I'll be searching for shorebirds also. Still missing Bairds! Leave it to Matt
Bryant to find Ruddy Turnstones back at the Brate Warehouse pond. I tried
Twice, they are moving around…. I'll be back later this afternoon. Seward rd.
Pond and brate pond are proving good.

I hit the Seward rd. Pond yesterday - 5:00 pm. I had 1 semi plover, 3 killdeer,
And one semi sandpiper. I came back a bit after 7:00 pm before I drove home.
This is how it can vary - 9 killdeer, 6 least, 4 pecs, 10 Semipalm sandpipers,
1 spotted. Are they moving around between Seward and Brate? New in?
Other areas? I didn’t know brate rd. Was good habitat again until today when
I met Matt.

Tues. - barring something to chase - will be someplace for odes. I am always
Birding too!

Good birding all.
