Here, in central Ohio, the robins are still fairly common, but definitely not i the numbers I am accustom to. Jays are way down.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Ceded waxwings
Normally I get a flush of migrating Cedar waxwings from Oct thru Nov. I have had none this year. Worried that the fires in Canada may have caused a population decline. Has anyone else noticed a lack of migrating Cedar Waxwing this season? Thanx - SLLG
