Been really busy as of late and haven’t posted much..

It was awesome seeing the crazy numbers of Pine Siskins posted last week.  My birding friends across in WV had big numbers in their yards; Janet had 60+ at her feeders and Gary had over 100!!  I had 3, haha.

Friday, I was finally able to locate a Lincoln’s Sparrow, new county bird and life bird, in Proctorville.  Of course, I didn’t have my camera.. It’s funny how that works.. 

Some other new faces of note have been lots of Palm Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and Swamp Sparrows.

A few weeks back, my friend Josh found a Common Tern at Harris Riverfront in Huntington, WV.  A very nice find, and I’m glad I was able to get the bird in Lawrence County!
