I stopped by the lower part of Hoover Resevoir (Walnut St. ramp and the
dam) as well as a few nearby wooded parks (Boyer Preserve, Inniswood) this
afternoon.  Late migrants were scarce and spotty, with notables including :

MuteSwans - not really a migrant, but 3 adults and 2 juveniles were off the
Walnut St. ramp
American Wigeon - none on the reservoir, but 6 were on the pond at Boyer
Preserve
CommonLoon - at least one was in the deep part of the reservoir off the dam
Pied-billed Grebes - 2 were off Walnut St ramp and another 2 were off the
dam
Gulls - small flocks of Ring-bills and Bonapartes were at many spots in the
lower reservoir
Pileated Woodpecker - 1 was calling from the woodland loop trail at
inniswood
Golden-cr.Kinglets - still some around with 2 below Hoover Dam and another
2 at inniswood
Sparrows - Songs common, at every spot; Boyer had 12.  Boyer also had a
Swamp Sparrow.  A Tree Sparrow was along the spillway south of Hoover Dam
Blackbirds - small flocks of Redwings flew south past the Walnut St ramp
and at inniswood.  Inniswood also had 35-40 Common Grackles staging for a
roost somewhere to the south.
