It was a fine morning to be out birding, and a decent variety of birds were observed today.  At Evans L. I saw gadwalls, Am. wigeon, hooded mergansers, pied-billed grebes, Am. coots, belted kingfisher, n. flickers, a merlin, Am. robins, and cedar waxwings.  Pine L. had 20 n. shovelers, ring-necked ducks, hooded mergansers, 30 common mergansers, ruddy ducks, double-crested cormorants, great blue heron, 2 bald eagles, tree swallow, and n. mockingbird.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
