I will write thoughts throughout the coming month. 242 is probably it. 250 is perfectly
doable. I have written before on just some of the misses for me. This big year
was done to learn the area. And I did! I met fellow birders, learned hotspots
I like. Learned something of SW Ohio bird timing and distribution. Enjoyed 
every minute! Except when I missed the bird........

I just got back from NJ - the Northern Lapwing moved from Salem to Cumberland
County. Cumberland is my county! A beautiful bird! Now I want one in Ohio. 
Chased the Hamilton Snowy. 199 for Hamilton County. 

Come January I will be searching for Saw whets. And diving ducks on the 
reservoirs. 

I will be laying low for a week. PCR test Jan  6. fly out jan 8 if that is negative.

Big years are fun. And they help one learn an area. I know Saw whets are around.
I don't know locations. Time to explore and learn. If anyone wants my excel
chart of species i saw for the big year, just let me know in Jan.
