Waterfowl have been moving, so I checked my favorite close Butler spots.
Hueston woods is far.  Furfield dog park was quiet. Just some Gadwall. 
The lower level dam along the Great Miami was good. Ring necked Duck
Is new for my big year. Shoveler there. Hooded Mergs. These spots change
Often, so need to be checked frequently. Marsh lake was dead. 

I ran into a fellow birder. She was telling me some spots for passerines. 
Great! I need that local knowledge as I learn the county. Forest run metro
Park - Wildlife preserve area. Sapsucker. And Purple finch! I was wondering
Where to get the finches. Still need pine Siskin. There’s houses that border
The place. Hopefully someone is feeding birds. 

Missed the Hermit thrush. Still need kinglet. And winter Wren. For Butler. 
I am losing track. Towhee was new from here. It was Clermont County for
The Jan 100 where I had last month. 

Ebird lets me know!
