At about 4:15PM today, at the 224 Bridge Area on the Portage / Mahoning County line at Berlin Reservoir, there were at least 86 Common Loons! All were either in juvenile or non-breeding plumage. Other birds of note were: 6 Lesser Scaup, 1 Red-breasted Merganser, 20+ Horned Grebe, 1 Bald Eagle, 8 American Coot, and 350+ Ring-billed Gulls.
