Was not cooperating for me! I couldn't get an early start, but thought a mid to
late afternoon wait would be productive. Not for me! I am assuming the
bird showed later than 4:40. I think thats when i left. 3 hour drive one way.
Without stops. I need to stop!

If the grosbeak is still being seen in a couple weeks, I'll probably try again.
But staying overnight somewhere. then hitting early next morning.

Theres also the question of that road..... a muddy, slippery mess.....
And here I was thinking warm weather would be good to wait in! It was,
but that road was nerve wracking driving in and out. I came in and
left from Rt. 62.

I was looking for Grackles as I drove ne. no! Starlings mainly, then some
Cowbirds. And a few red wings. Lots of Kestrels during my drive through
that beautiful rolling hills and pasture region.
