On Sunday we will be participating in the Big Sit. We will be at Buck Creek
State Park near the north end of the lake. Near the north end of Grant Road
there is a gravel drive that goes to the lake. There is now a gate about 30
yards from the road. There is parking at the gate and our site will be at
the end of the lane overlooking the lake, some mudflats, and the shore. I
will be there most of the day. Anyone is welcome to join me. Bring a chair
and stay for an hour or several hours. We have had between 50 and 69 species
on previous counts. The weather looks good for comfort Sunday.
