As to be expected this time of year. And this oppressive weather!
Yellow-billed Cuckoos calling though. The usual Red eyed Vireo….
I wonder when they stop singing?! Purple Martins - in very small
Numbers - at most stops I made. I presume they will head to
The Clermont mega roost for the night. I wonder how far those
Birds travel to feeding areas every morning??
RFI - this was primarily an odes day. Does anyone know how to access
The creek at Rocky Fork - Plum Run bridge? That’s a hotspot. An
Absolutely gorgeous area! Scenic. Loads of odes along the stream.
And the only access I could see was a path that was clearly marked
No trespassing.
Good birding all.
