Subject bird still being seen across the spillway up on the stone riprap. Preening and dozing, appears healthy.

I spent some time on top of the dam looking for the eared grebe and possibly had it in the distance but iffy. Did have six or eight horned grebes. Another birdwe reported a distant surf scoter but I did not see that either
