In between rainstorms, I went back to upper Arlington today in the early afternoon hoping for decent light. Light wasn’t great for photos but I had fun watching them.

The young birds are venturing farther from the nest & branching trees but I did manage to see four birds which I believe were the youngsters with one adult all in one tree altogether. It was really cool but of course I’m greedy & would’ve loved to have seen all five youngsters at the same time.

I’m presuming the one at the top was the adult as it had brought food in. I also watched an adult eat most of House Sparrow before it took the leftovers to the juveniles.

There were some vocalization plus rapid comings and goings. The neighbors say they’ve seen the birds up to two blocks away. Still a lot of interest from the residents in the neighborhood which is kind of cool.
