I had a pleasant surprise this morning at my Wooster home in seeing a
single pine siskin on my thistle seed feeder. That is the first siskin that
I have seen on my feeders since September, 2016.

Last January, while working on my January 100 list, I never could find a
siskin anywhere I looked in Ohio. I had plenty of siskins on my feeders all
winter during the winters of 2014-15 and 2015-16, but not a one last
winter. Looks like perhaps we may be seeing pine siskins again this
winter. Randy Rowe, Wooster
