Matt Bryant, et. al. report the female KING EIDER remains at Chilo Lock #34 Park, Chilo (Clermont) as of this morning, 5 December (Got the date right this time.)  Matt saw her working the boat ramp, downstream from the museum location she favors, but still in the park proper.

For those of you questioning the Ohio-Kentucky boundary issue, I feel confident that this bird spends the majority of her time firmly in Ohio territory, as she hugs the shoreline.  Whether or not she drifts far out enough into the river as to be in Kentucky waters on occasion is a debate for others to resolve.

Chilo Lock #34 Park is southeast of I-275 on SR 52.  Turn right at the sign for Crooked Run Nature Preserve just after you cross the intersection of SR 52 and SR 122.
