Along with the nesting Bald Eagles at Bruce Yee Park (eBird Hotspot) we had
a Merlin make an appearance with just barely enough time to raise our
cameras for a few quick frames in crummy light. Pic on my checklist
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S42269210. Locals tell me this is a
reliable spot to see the bird in the morning (it came through about 8:30am).
It often enjoys eating its catch on the light pole in the parking lot. No
need to even leave your car!
