I found a single male Brewer's blackbird in Madison this evening. The bird
was feeding in a yard along Towline Road, which is on the Madison-North
Perry boundary. The bird was on the east side of the road about 6 houses
south of Lockwood Road. I saw it on the way to the store and did not have a
camera. It was gone by the time we came back. A few years back I had one
feeding in my yard around the same time of year. Its a good idea to keep an
eye on single blackbirds.
