On December 10, Larry Jeanblanc sent me a picture of the Gadwall x
Green-winged Teal hybrid taken at Old Reid Park. We also saw this hybrid
this spring both at Old Reid Park and once at the north end of the lake at
Buck Creek State Park. All of these may be of the same bird. In the past we
have also seen this hybrid in 2018, 2014, and 2013. All have been males as
we probably wouldn't have identified a female hybrid.

This morning at the north end of the lake at Buck Creek State Park I saw
about 40 Killdeer and 4 Least Sandpipers. We have had late shorebirds at
this location a number of times over the years.
