I don’t know if it’s unusual as I don’t keep track of such things usually but I have just seen a single Trumpeter Swan in the wildlife area across the road from the main Blackhand Gorge parking area. It’s one of the fishing access areas.

I scoped it and see absolutely no yellow near the bill base plus it’s an elongated bill. It appears to be well and is feeding but I only see the one bird. Have no idea if this is unusual for licking County but i thought I would report it.

A more detailed report of what I saw a blackhand I’ll submit later.
