Hit Cowan Lake - Clinton - slow but I found stuff scattered around.
Acadian, Tennessee, Philly Vireo, Hummer, etc. my favorite part here
Though was the Swallow swarm. They are staging. Tree,
Rough winged, barn, and bank. In descending order of numbers.

Realized I was close to Brown County and Indian Creek. It was quiet
Bird wise though. Heat of the afternoon by then. Magnolia was new.
Nothing much in the marsh itself. I enjoyed the red headed woodpeckers.
They were active, putting on a show!

Home. Realized I had just enough time for my Lost Bridge - Hamilton
County - shorebird survey. Off I go! And wow! 2 county birds!

8 Killdeer
1 Baird’s - county bird!
15 Least
12 Pecs
3 lesser yellowlegs
1 Black tern
1 Forsters tern - county bird!

49 great blue heron
19 Great egret

Everything is in the quarry pit. Even though the river looks perfect too.

That Limpkin was refound. If it is still around next week, I'll try again. I need
To stay overnight for a trip that long.

Good birding all.
