LADUE RESERVOIR PLANNED LOGGING UPDATE:
There will be a public meeting March 15 7-9 pm Adam Hall auburn Twp 11455 E
Washington St,

WKYC will be there. Concerned people are trying to get 5,8,19 to show up
too. Found out a lot more. Akron owns 12000+ acres in Geauga county that it
really doesn't need as watershed. They want to log the initial 42 acres
down by LaDue, including all shaggy bark (black cherry) Indiana bat
habitat, in April. Log everything that's left in 2019 cause there are no
endangered bats then and sell for development. Goal is to log all timbered
acres in Geauga County well over 5000 acres in all and eventually sell it
of for development. Permanently destroying habitat. Tell whoever you can.
BTW on those 12000 acres Akron pays $0 in property taxes. Yep zero nata
nothing. Most of the acres were obtained in the 40's and 50's by eminent
domain. YOU pay more in taxes on your parcel than Akron does on more than
12000 acres.
