Driving across Meander on Oct. 7 I saw a large white bird sitting out on a
shallow flat which I first thought was a Mute Swan due to sun glare and the
angle of the freeway, but a quick second look suggested a Pelican. 
Regardless the bird was definitely white.  

Also, on my previously reported Ravens, I saw them on Thursday, October 6,
not Oct. 7.
