Spent the last 2 afternoons hitting spots around the north end of Hoover
Reservoir - water level very high so chances for waders & shorebirds are
nearly nil. Waterfowl have yet to make much of an appearance. Best birds
included:

Gulls - long straggling flock of Bonaparte's Gulls from the Sunbury
causeway north nearly to Galena, perhaps 300 birds total. Also some
Ring-bills & Herring, especially around boardwalk

Vultures - big roost at Twin Bridges on both days - yesterday I counted
140+ Turkey Vultures and 5 Black Vultures

Waterfowl - hardly any, other than a few mallards & Canada geese
Other waterbirds - still a few cormorants around, topped by 10 off Wiese
Rd. Also had 3 Pied-billed Grebes, with 2 off Oxbow Island

Winter Wren - had 1 along Big Walnut Creek in Area N

Kinglets - a few Golden-crowns at Area N

CedarWaxwings - 6+ searching for berries along the bike path near Wiese Rd

Warblers - only Yellow-rumps, but they were at many different stops
