The Ruddy was still at Adams Lake. At least it’s feeding well there.
Eastern Pewees were very vocal. I also had one Willow. Presume no
Alders around there. Because it never vocalized. I was here for botany
And odes.
I was alerted to three Little Blues at Cowan lake - Clinton county.
So detoured on my way home! Seems to be the timing for this species
Currently in the state. They were feeding on the edge of a Lotus area.
The SE corner of the lake. And the spillway at the opposite end of the
Lake has shorebirds. Love that spot! Nothing out of the ordinary but
Nice to see.
There’s going to be a good informative field trip to Miami whitewater
Shaker trace Sunday morning. On how the area is managed for the prairie.
Alas I probably can't make it…. Been a very busy weekend with errands.
Good birding all.
