                 Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast
corner of Columbus off of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle way exit.
Below is a list of some of the birds seen at Blendon Woods this past week

         Nature Center Bird Viewing Window
              Dark-eyed Junco
              A Tree Sparrow
              White-throated Sparrow
              Cooper's Hawk

      Lake Trail
              Red-headed Woodpecker-young

     Thoreau Lake
              Mallard
              A Black Duck
              Gadwall
              Green-winged Teal
              RuddyDuck
              N Shoveler
              C Pintail
              Hooded Merganser
              Red-tailed Hawk
              Pileated Woodpecker

     Bird Feeder-At entrance of Disc Golf Course road
             Fox Sparrow
             E Towhee

     Turkey-flocking up to groups as big as 50+

     Barred Owls-communicating to each other
